These Terms & Conditions govern your use of The Barrel Board website, accounts, event listings, planning tools, advertising services, and related features. By using the site, you agree to these terms.
Platform Purpose
The Barrel Board provides tools for discovering and sharing barrel racing events, managing event information, planning participation, and connecting users with producers, media providers, advertisers, and Business Partners. We are not the organizer, sanctioning body, payment processor, or guarantor of events unless expressly stated.
Eligibility and Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Producers may be asked to verify ownership of an event before receiving management access.
Event Listings
Producers and other submitters are responsible for the accuracy, legality, permissions, dates, fees, payout information, links, images, results, cancellations, and other content they provide. The Barrel Board may review, edit for formatting, reject, archive, suspend, or remove listings at its discretion.
Users should verify important event information directly with the producer before traveling, entering, paying fees, or making plans. The Barrel Board does not guarantee that an event will occur or that all information is complete or current.
Contestant Planning and Financial Tracking
Planner, budgeting, entry-fee, winnings, horse, and calendar tools are provided for convenience only. They are not accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice, and users are responsible for verifying their own records.
User Content and Permission
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant The Barrel Board a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, format, distribute, and promote that content as reasonably necessary to operate and market the platform. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit it.
Prohibited Use
- Submitting false, misleading, infringing, unlawful, abusive, or harmful content.
- Impersonating another person or business.
- Attempting unauthorized access, scraping at a harmful rate, disrupting the service, or bypassing security.
- Using the platform to transmit malware, spam, or fraudulent offers.
Paid Services
Premier event upgrades, advertisements, and Business Partner subscriptions may be governed by additional terms. Prices, availability, placement, and features may change. Unless otherwise stated, fees already paid are nonrefundable.
Intellectual Property
The Barrel Board name, branding, site design, software, and original content are owned by or licensed to The Barrel Board and may not be copied or used without permission, except as allowed by law.
Disclaimer
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, error-free data, event attendance, payouts, performance, results, sales, or outcomes.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Barrel Board and its owner, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, missed events, travel losses, injuries, disputes, or reliance on user-submitted information.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold The Barrel Board harmless from claims arising from your content, conduct, event, business, violation of these terms, or infringement of another party’s rights.
Suspension and Termination
We may restrict or terminate access for violations, security concerns, nonpayment, fraud, abuse, or conduct harmful to the platform or community.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Oklahoma unless otherwise required by law.
